Qatar to host the second instalment of the region’s premier conference dedicated to designing, building and maintaining next generation bridges
Owing to the phenomenal success of IQPC’s Bridges Middle East 2009, and the industry and media attention surrounding the event, we are pleased to announce that we will be repeating the event on 11 - 14 April 2010 in Doha, Qatar. With the vast investment going into bridge projects in Qatar, the conference and exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to network with regional and international experts and break into this lucrative market.

The Qatar-Bahrain Causeway Project – Recognised as the world’s longest marine crossing, this project answers an important part of the mobility challenge for Qatar and Bahrain by providing a surface transportation link between the two diverse and complementary countries and economies.
The Ring Bridges in Qatar – The new Lusail City development north of Doha comprises two signature bridges connecting the mainland areas with new artificial islands, separated by channels. The bridges feature a circular-shaped structural element that carry the cables supporting the bridge girder.
With a wave of new projects sweeping the Middle East, bridge design and engineering is undoubtedly a key construction focus for the immediate future.
Architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers are searching for innovative ways to remain competitive and ensure they are involved in these groundbreaking projects.
Only at Bridges Middle East - Qatar 2010 will the highest level decision-makers attend in one place at one time.
The agenda for the conference will focus on all of the region’s key bridge projects.
